Visiting the Prairies

I have not been blogging forever... make that hardly ever at all.....
Anyhow, this last week has been spent visiting my daughter and son in law and the Grandkids in the prairies, in Saskatchewan to be a bit more precise.  My oldest Granddaughter had come back to Kelowna with her "Mimi" and Papa (her Dad's parents) and I took her back with me when I drove out a week later. Sadly Ed could not make it....

 The kids are all so precious and growing up so fast! Though the weather has not been very "summer like" the upside has been the mosquitoes have been few... we've had so much fun! Breakfast on the porch in the pouring rain, BBQ outback immediately after another pouring rain which made the freshly moved grass stick to the kids everywhere....  we made some yummy salads.... and cheesecake..... met new friends....

Brett and the 3 older kids slept out on the trampoline last night... pretty brave in my opinion, as one never knows when the next downpour is about to happen...
Today it is finally sunny but very windy. We'll be heading out to Spirit Lake after nap time....Tomorrow I'm heading home. First leg to Calgary, picking up Celia... hope #1 HWY will be open again by Saturday!
I'm sad to leave but glad the kids are coming out to Kelowna sometime in August! ..so long!!!
